No

Drum scanners are fast and have great work ... but the prices are not in the hands of consumers.

With this much pressure you want to avoid off-the-shelf with (ADF) scanners. After running a lot in the magazine that tomorrow, the glass / lens of the ADF. This is evidenced by scratches on the scans, a big mess for retouching (Photoshop). Even if your scanner and comes with an automatic document feeder, not use it to scan photos.

It is best, a flatbed scanner that can scan the tabloid (11x17) or more, then scanning multiple images at once. Some scanners (such as esponsible) you can select multiple areas of exploration. This allows you to scan multiple photos on the card instead, and then all of them.

Find an Epson Expression 836XL. He is a former model, but you can take on eBay for under 200USD. The Epson 836XL allows you to scan up to 800 dpi ... entirely adequate for printed photos.

Good luck!
